Anne G. Villa, CPA, CEcD, CGFM
Anne G. Villa, CPA, CEcD, CGFM, is the Deputy Secretary & CFO of Louisiana Economic Development (LED) where she leads the department’s business development program incentives, as well as the functions of the office of management and finance, human resources, performance management, compliance and reporting, & IT.
She has had the opportunity to serve under three different governors during the past 13 years. Returning home and joining LED as Undersecretary in 2012, Ms. Villa brought more than twenty plus years’ experience in the area of operations and finance, serving in the private sector working for Ryder Systems, Exide Technologies and Scientific Games.
Ms. Villa’s certifications and well-rounded career as a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Economic Developer, and Certified Government Financial Manager exemplify her passion for improving the lives of Louisiana citizens and working with allies, partners and stakeholders in supporting the efforts of economic development in Louisiana.
She resides in Ascension parish with her husband Mark. Their two children attended LSU for their undergraduate studies which was a contributing factor to her returning home.
She serves the community in a variety of ways, supporting local community organizations and in her spare time loves travelling, gardening, running & spending time with her five grandchildren.
