Don Monistere / Conner LeBlanc

Don Monistere is the CEO and President of General Informatics, where he leads the company’s strategic vision, driving both organic growth and value-adding acquisitions. Under his leadership, General Informatics has expanded from a Louisiana-based IT firm to a 200+ employee company serving the Southeast and parts of the West. Monistere brings decades of executive experience in the IT industry, having previously held leadership roles at IBML, C-Spire, and TekLinks, and founding Vista Information Systems, which was acquired in 2008. Known for successfully scaling companies, he has expertise in sales, marketing, operations, and IT services. Monistere is also an author of the “Enhanced Performance” trilogy, which outlines his philosophy for achieving peak personal and professional performance.

Conner LeBlanc is the Senior Business Development & Compliance Manager at Baton Rouge-based General Informatics. For the past four years he’s served as the interpreter between GI’s engineers and South Louisiana business owners—turning tech jargon into practical, profit-saving cybersecurity and AI solutions.

A licensed Louisiana attorney with an JD/MBA from LSU, Conner has delivered Continuing Legal Education lectures on IT, security, and AI to bar associations statewide and advised leaders in banking, healthcare, engineering, and local government. Most recently, Conner has focused his efforts on businesses operating in the maritime and oilfield sector, helping shipyards, fabricators, and service companies from Morgan City to Port Fourchon harden their networks and leverage AI tools that enable them to remain competitive and comply with the evolving security requirements of their largest customers.
