Dave Macnamara

Dave Macnamara is Oceaneering’s Senior Manager and Site Leader for its Morgan City Facility where he leads operations supporting manufacturing and lifecycle support activities for Oceaneering’s ROV, Survey, and Offshore Projects Groups as well as U.S. Government customers through its Aerospace and Defense Technologies Group.

Dave graduated as a Distinguished Military Graduate from Loyola University, New Orleans in 1988. Following graduation, he served as an airborne infantry and transportation officer in both the active Army and the Army Reserve. Prior to joining the company, he was the construction superintendent for Oceaneering’s first Multi-Service Vessel, the “Ocean Intervention” at Service Marine. Dave joined the company in 1998 and has served in various support roles across multiple divisions and disciplines. He has worked on projects for Oceaneering in Norway, the UK, Angola, Singapore, Mexico, and Brazil.

In addition to his operational support role, he participates in Oceaneering’s community programs with particular emphasis on outreach to students at all educational levels to include; speaking events, site tours, recruiting, and mentoring.
